day of continuous, silent practice with alternating periods of sitting, walking, and dharma talks.

This retreat is suitable for people at all levels of experience, who feel ready to practice for eight hours.

The church has comfortable chairs, and you may bring any sitting supplies you want.
 Also bring a bag lunch to eat in silence. Please come 15 minutes early to settle in.

The Alameda Sangha is a place to practice and discuss mindfulness meditation and Buddhist teachings.  Founded in 2008, today we are led by three teachers  of the Theravada tradition, Pauletta M.
