This day of meditation is led by Rebecca Dixon and Deb Kerr.
Join us as we explore stillness and build skills that lead to concentration.
Insights can occur when our minds become still enough for us to see the moment-by-moment nature of all experience.
What is it like to really experience stillness? How can we pacify these restless minds and lay the groundwork for deepening concentration?
In this day of silent practice with each other, we will weave together classic teaching and techniques to build a foundation of well-being, ease, and playfulness that supports skillful effort for unification of the mind
Chairs and tea will be provides; please bring any personal mediation gear you require and a bag lunch. Please arrive by 8:45 am in order to be ready to start at 9 am.
Cost: Donation basis. Drop-in or preregister at alamedasangha@gmail.com
Beginners as well as experienced practitioners will benefit from this day of guided practice. Please bring a bag lunch and wear comfortable clothing. For more information about the Alameda Sangha please visit us at alamedasangha.org
