and Beyond Standard Jazz perform a fusion of jazz, world, and
popular music.
Winner of Indie Music Channel's 2012 "Best Female Jazz Artist,"
Jenson leads the group through original
compositions and masterfully reinvented jazz and contemporary
covers. Debuting as #28 on the National CMJ Jazz Charts, Jenson's
second album, Beyond, was released in January 2011 and has enjoyed
international attention, with covers of Chick Corea, Joni Mitchell
and rising star Gregory Porter.
