Beat of the Drum
Art Show Runs: August 14, 2010 – October 22, 2010.
Opening Reception: Saturday, August 14, 6-8 PM. Join us and the artists for our opening with art, music by Kenny McElroy and his group, playing drums, keyboard and bass and others. Refreshments served.
Beat of the Drum brings together African, Afro-Cuban, Cuban, and the American Jazz Scene Art where drums or rhythms play a significant role. Artwork includes paintings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, monotypes, jewelry, glass art, fiber arts, video art and other fine arts and crafts.Included also are unique one of a kind items from handmade silk scarves, purses, plates, bowls, jewelry, origami, and much more.
